Volunteers were paged to recover a second lost dinghy in a month when the wooden boat ran aground on rocks near the old swimming pool in Dunbar.
UK Coastguard requested the launch of our inshore lifeboat (ILB) at 7.30pm on Sunday after receiving reports from off-duty volunteers. The crew, assisted by Dunbar Coastguard, recovered the boat - named ‘Tommy 200’ - and returned it to the harbour where efforts were being made to trace the owner.
If you recognise the dinghy or know of a vessel named ‘Tommy 200’, please contact the Aberdeen Coastguard Operations Centre on 01224 592334.
