ILB launched to person stuck on cliff.

Dunbar ILB was tasked by Aberdeen coastguard last night 18:54 to reports of a small girl stuck on the cliffs, locally know as the three sisters.

Dunbar's ILB was quickly launched and made best speed towards the casualty. Once on scene the crew quickly made contact with the nine year old girl. Two officers from Police Scotland were already talking to the girl. Due to the location of the girl the fire service were also tasked along with Dunbar & North Berwick coastguard teams.

Once Dunbar Fire brigade crew arrived they used a ladder to assist on getting the girl down safely. Fire fighter Jared Knox assisted the small girl down to her parents.

Dunbar ILB returned to station and was ready made for service a short time later.
