Dunbar's ILB was launched 14:31 this afternoon when reports of three small pleasure craft had broken free from their moorings in the Broadhaven harbour. The rough weather caused all three boats to break their mooring ropes leaving them attached to only one, allowing the boats to spin around in the waves.
After the ILB was launched they began moving the boats to the safety of Cromwell Harbour were they were sheltered from the breaking waves. After all three boats were safe and secure in the harbour the ILB checked over the rest of the boats that were remaining in the other harbour.
The ILB was then recovered and made ready for service.
