Raft Race - 19th July 2008

Last years raft race was a great success and great fun, so this year we are running it again.  There will be 20 teams with 8 persons to a team, the rafts you will be using on the day are white water rafts, lifejackets and oars are supplied, all you have to do is turn up and have fun.

 The RNLI is supported entirely by voluntary contributions and our gala day is our biggest fundraising event of the year so we try to make as much money as possible.

In previous years we have had teams pull out on the day so we have lost a lot of money, so this year we are asking for a deposit of £40.00 which will be refunded on the day.

This year we are charging £80.00 per team. There are two options each team have for paying to enter there team.

Option 1. A sponsorship, each team member must raise a minimum of £10.00, but will hopefully raise more.

Option 2. Each team member pays £10.00.
