Dunbar Lifeboat Station

Gary Fairbairn, Dunbar's Coxswain has been awarded a Bronze Medal for Gallantry. The honour is in recognition of his courage, judgement and exemplary boat handling in sea conditions that knocked the lifeboat onto her side during the rescue of a skipper and his wife from the stricken yacht Ouhm on the night of 15 May 2009.
