Dunbar ALB 14-35 John Neville Taylor

John Neville Taylor was built in 2002 and paid for by a substantial bequest from the estate of Mr John Neville Taylor, together with other legacies Initialy becoming part of the RNLI relief fleet. Following a major refit, She became the Dunbar lifeboat in April 2008 after 14-09 Sir Ronald Pechell was damaged beyond repair in a storm.

14-09 Sir Ronald PechellBequest of Dora, Lady Pechell and the Dunbar Lifeboat Appeal together with other gifts and legacies The Sir Ronald Pechell arrived as the Dunbar lifeboat in 1995 . She gave the people and crew of Dunbar 13 years of faithful service before tragically she was damaged beyond repair in a storm in March 2008

Swift Water Rescue

Every year crew from Dunbar and other stations head to wales to practice their Swift Water Rescue techniques. They train to be able to make rescues not from the sea but from a river or maybe even a flooded town.
