At 1420 Forth MRSC requested the immediate launch of both Dunbar lifeboats to reports of a upturned creel boat with persons in the water. The creel boat Kayla Dawn had been heading back to Dunbar bar harbour when a large wave swamped the boat and capsized them, throwing both men in the water.

Dunbar 'All Weather Lifeboat' was requested to launch after a creel boat had been reported as being broken down and adrift off St Abb's Head.  The vessel was quickly located and taken under to to Eyemouth, the vessels destination and closest port. The vessel was soon repaired and made its way back to it's home port of Dunbar under its own power.

Rescue 177Whilst Dunbar Lifeboat Crew were carrying out a first aid course, a member of the public came into the station and reported seeing a person enter the water at belhaven bay and not returning. Forth 'Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre' (MRSC) was informed and both Dunbar lifeboats were quickly launched.

Dunbar 'all weather lifeboat' was requested by Forth MRSC to respond to a tail tied fishing vessel near Craiglieth in rough seas and gale force winds. Dunbar Lifeboat arrived on scene and took the vessel under tow. It took approximately three and a half hours to tow the vessel to Torness where divers managed to free the tangled propeller. The vessel the returned to Dunbar under its own power.
